2019 Best Luxury Suite- Best of Boston

If heaven were a place on earth, it would be the Boston Harbor Hotel’s new John Adams Presidential Suite. Showcasing drop-dead-gorgeous waterfront views from its floor-to-ceiling windows and terrace, the 4,800-square-foot retreat is bolstered by a glass-domed ceiling, a freestanding soaking tub overlooking the harbor, and a private elevator

Daily Mail: Ten of the Most Magnificent Presidential Suite

MARCH 2019

Mini bar? Check. TV? Check? Private chef? Check. Thirteen bedrooms? Check.

Step inside some of the globe's best presidential suites, which transport guests to a world of unparalleled luxury.

From London to New York via Sydney, these are the top spots for millionaires with wanderlust, with prices ranging from £500 ($658) to £18,000 ($23,000) a night...

On the East Coast of America, an extravagant suite vastly belies the city's modest, abstemious and Puritan roots - with a $15,000-a-night (£11,450) price tag that makes it the city's most expensive accommodation. The John Adams Presidential Suite in the Boston Harbor Hotel boasts 4,800 and 1,000 square feet of interior and exterior space, respectively.

There may be no Oval Office but, in every other way, there is everything a world leader would expect - chauffeur-driven transport from the airport, an on-call butler, a private elevator and an in-house cinema.

Ironic that the city was once known as Beantown for a history steeped in baked beans - these days you'll need a few beans to be able to afford to stay here.

3 Things We Love About Boston Harbor Hotel

Standing watch over the historic waterfront, Boston Harbor Hotel is undoubtedly one of the city’s most luxurious addresses. With its iconic rotunda and 60-foot stone archway, this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star property serves as a metaphorical gateway to the Hub, but its classic-meets-contemporary décor, friendly service and subtle nautical theme make you feel right at home.

From the residential-style accommodations and jaw-dropping views to exquisite fine dining and a jovial bar scene, Boston Harbor Hotel is easy to love. These are three reasons why we’ll be checking into this coveted stay this season.

The Boston Harbor Hotel Debuts Its New Presidential Suite

For many years, the Forbes 5-Star Boston Harbor Hotel has one been of my favorite city properties in the world, with a number of distinguishing touches that set it apart even from its elite luxury competition (like being home to the nation’s oldest and longest running wine festival). But if there was one small weakness, one thing missing at this otherwise stellar monument to hospitality, it was the absence of a flagship suite worthy of the rest of the property. Now that oversight has been corrected, and deep-pocketed travelers seeking the very best need look no further when visiting Boston (read more about what makes the Boston Harbor Hotel so exceptional, even for guests in “regular” rooms).

Conde Nast Traveler - Super Bowl LIII: Where to Watch the Game in Boston and Los Angeles

Writer, Andrew Sessa, picks the new John Adams Presidential Suite at the Boston Harbor Hotel as an ideal spot to cheer on the Patriots in Super Bowl LIII.

'The baller option, though, would be to go for the new John Adams Presidential Suite at the Boston Harbor Hotel. The media room in this two-bedroom, nearly 5,000-square-foot top-floor pad has a 93-inch TV; there’s a private entrance and elevator, the better for sneaking in all your Rams fan gear; and the price includes a fridge and bar stocked with all your favorite snacks and drinks.. (As well it should for $15,000 a night.)'

Step Inside Boston’s Most Expensive Hotel Penthouse Suite

What will $15,000 buy you in Boston? In-state tuition for a year at UMass Boston. Roughly 5,000 medium iced coffees from Dunkin' Donuts, or one every day until 2032. Perhaps even a pair tickets behind home plate at Fenway Park for a World Series game, if the Red Sox make it this year.

That, or you could plunk down $15,000 for a one-night stay in the most expensive hotel suite in Boston.

Earlier this month, the Boston Harbor Hotel unveiled the John Adams Presidential Suite. The two-bedroom, 4,800-square-foot space features a 20-foot-high domed ceiling with a crystal chandelier, an open-air terrace overlooking the harbor, and a private elevator. Butler service is available upon request.

The Boston Globe - At $15,000 a night, this is Boston’s newest, most expensive luxury hotel suite

"The shimmering, broad expanse of the harbor visible from the terrace of the new John Adams Presidential Suite of the Boston Harbor Hotel may look like a million- dollar view, but it’s not.

It’s a $15,000 view.

That’s the price tag to sit on the beautifully appointed 1,000-square-foot patio and watch the boats glide by while working on your tan. And that’s how much it costs to look out on the harbor through the 20-foot floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, or to drink in that same view while relaxing in the massive tub in the marble-and-mosaic-laden bathroom.
