The 2008 Summer Series kicks off on Friday, June 20th, 2008 and runs through Friday, August 29th, 2008. Come enjoy special live concert performances and movies by moonlight.

Summer Soul every Tuesday

Summer Soul will take place every Tuesday night, from late June to late August 2008 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The Boston Harbor Hotel will host different R&B and soul singers with their bands this summer including Ray Greene, Soul City and World Premier Band. Artists will cover songs from the 1950s through today. You'll hear favorites from legends such as Marvin Gaye, Al Green, James Brown, Otis Redding, Roberta Flack and Gladys Knight & the Pips.

Summer Swing every Wednesday

Summer Swing allows guests to come and dance the night away with family and friends to the sounds of the White Heat Orchestra on Wednesday nights, from late June to late August 2008 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The series features entertainment of various themes, ranging from a tribute to the legendary performers of big band to the sultry swing of jazz.

Blues Barge every Thursday

The Blues Barge -- a floating stage anchored behind the Boston Harbor Hotel -- provides the setting for some of the hottest local and national blues artists. A Blues Barge favorite – Jeff Pitchell will be performing once again along with other artists from last year including Toni Lynn Washington and James Montgomery. The 2008 series, from late June to late August 2008, will include performances every Thursday evening until August 23rd, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Movies by Moonlight every Friday

The Movies by Moonlight series offers guests a chance to revisit a few of time's most memorable films such as Some Like it Hot, Rio Bravo and The Hustler. The 2008 series, from late June to late August 2008, will continue every Friday night until August 31st, starting at dusk. The spectacular view from Intrigue Café sets the stage to view these classic greats beneath the stars.

These free outdoor events held at Boston's most luxurious waterfront hotel offer both the tourist and local resident the chance to enjoy beautiful summer evenings at the city's most scenic waterfront location, listen to live music, watch classic films, and learn the lindy hop. Guests are also welcome to indulge in the exquisite cuisine of Chef Daniel Bruce, who prepares the menu daily at the Intrigue Café Terrace.
