Opened since 1969, The New England Aquarium attracts thousands of visitors each year.  Over the years they have gone through many changes.  They have developed many programs and exhibits that help with the understanding of marine life.  Visitors can check out the Aquarium Medical Center, which gives an inside look into the care the animals receive.  The IMAX Theater, which opened in 2001, is the only 3D theater in Boston.  Here they show movies of animals and their habitats that may be too big or too small to actually live at the aquarium.
